Peterson Cartridge Product Changes

At Peterson Cartridge Co. we really do listen to the feedback we receive from our customers. And we make improvements to our casings based on your recommendations. As a result, aspects of our casings change from time to time. Some of the changes could require you to revise your load for optimum performance at the target.

To keep you apprised of any improvements we make, we provide the below-listed chart, showing the different versions, and when they were instituted.

Purpose: To keep track of quality changes/differences in the calibers that we produce that could effect the customer's experience. 

The types of changes that require being listed here included:

Neck Wall Thickness, External Dimension Change, Internal Dimension Change, Neck Tension, Primer Pocket

  Parameters:          
  1.  List calibers from smallest to largest, in agreement with Cartridge Comparison Guide poster.
  2.  List SRP versions on separate line.
  3.  Version "A" siginifies the first run of a caliber where we made the casings available for sale - often the Alpha Run.

Ben Preston serves as Inspection and Shipping Manager at Peterson Cartridge.  In this role, Ben is responsible for a stringent visual inspection process where he checks that every casing is free of defect.  Ben oversees incoming and finished goods inventory and works to meet shipping deadlines.
